Lighthouse named most popular Sri Lankan property service provider in Europe at Calin Popular Awards 2026
Lighthouse has been recognised as the Most Popular Sri Lankan Property Service Provider in Europe at the Calin Popular Awards 2026, marking a milestone in the company’s growth and expanding presence among Sri Lankan communities across Europe. Founded by Lighthouse Founder and Director Dinesh Pathirage together with Co-Founder Dott. Marco Ragucci, the company provides property-related services focused on supporting individuals seeking to purchase homes and navigate the property acquisition process.
Pathirage said the concept for Lighthouse was inspired by his own experience of purchasing a home and the difficulties he faced in understanding the process. “When I first decided to buy a home, I did not have a clear understanding of how the process worked. The difficulties I faced made me realise that many others were experiencing the same problem. Lighthouse was created to provide the guidance and support that I myself had once needed,” he said. The business began on a small scale in Italy before gradually expanding its operations across several cities. Lighthouse currently operates its Head Office in Rome, with branches in Milan, Verona, Firenze and Lucca, while preparations are underway to open a new branch in Napoli. Pathirage said customer trust and transparency have remained central to the company’s growth, with Lighthouse focusing on realistic commitments and consistent service delivery. “We do not make promises that we cannot fulfil. Trust is one of the most important foundations of our business, and that has helped us build long-term relationships with our customers,” he said. He also highlighted the importance of building a capable team and strengthening internal systems as the company continues to grow. Technology is expected to play an increasingly important role in Lighthouse’s next phase, with the company focusing on upgrading its systems and adapting to changing customer expectations. Over the next five years, Lighthouse plans to expand beyond Italy and establish a broader presence across Europe while exploring opportunities in other international markets. The company is also looking to attract investors with a long-term outlook to support its expansion. The Calin Popular Awards 2026 recognition adds to Lighthouse’s growing profile as it continues to expand its property services footprint across Europe.
